Adrian Harris (Senior Fraud Consultant) swam the Bosphorus strait in Turkey, from Europe to Asia for Save the Children raising £365.39 and Sara Whitwell (Senior Marketing Executive) ran the London 10k for BDFA, to raise awareness of a rare genetic disease that affects a family member. Sara raised £549.95.

BDFA Fundraising Officer Nikki Radcliffe said:
"The BDFA are truly grateful to each of our 18 runners at the British London 10k 2013. It was one of the hottest days of the year, combine that with the thousands of runners and you begin to understand what a fantastic job they all did to finish with good times".

Adrian Harris said:
“I entered the race as I get so few opportunities to wear a hat. It was well organised, the conditions were perfect and the water didn’t taste too bad. I thoroughly enjoyed the event but most of all it’s great to raise money for a worthwhile charity”

Their efforts will make such a difference. Well done Adrian and Sara and thank you very much to all who supported them and kindly donated.
