The announcement was made by Axtel's Fraud Manager, Horacio Isaías Páez Hidalgo, who spoke at Neural Technologies' User Forum in Istanbul about the challenges faced by Axtel during its merger with Avantel.

The integration of the two networks gave rise to extending the scope of the Minotaur solution (originally installed for fraud management within Avantel) to additionally manage risk within credit and collections for the integrated networks, resulting in remarkable benefits and savings for the operator.

Said Horacio Páez, "Having a FMS like Minotaur helped us greatly to reach the goals we set out. We discovered that we can use Minotaur in many creative ways to manage risk."
