Neural Technologies (Nt) has become a founder shareholder in Neural Risk Management SA, Romania's first credit bureau.
The bureau was established to provide state-of-the art credit scoring and risk management services for clients in Romania's financial markets. Nt's technology will assist Neural Risk Management to stay ahead of changing patterns in consumer behaviour and criminal activity
Nt's Chief Executive Officer John Gavan said: "We are already producing extraordinary results for clients in East Central Europe, and this latest move represents another important step in our growth. Nt's pioneering technology will compensate for the lack of credit history and data on individual behaviour within Romania."

Other shareholders in NRM are Universal Card Systems SA, one of Romania's most experienced telecom service organisations, SmartTel SA, which specialises in secure mobile banking solutions, and Investment Solutions SRL, a business development company focusing on financial sector projects.
The new credit bureau will be backed by a disaster recovery centre established with the support of Provus Service Provider SA. The centre operates from one of the most secure locations in Romania, in compliance with Visa and MasterCard regulations.
