Neural Technologies was selected by TDC, Denmark 's leading supplier of telecommunication services, to develop a joint fraud and credit management solution.
The creation of this unique system forms the final part of a major groundbreaking initiative by the operator to achieve a complete overview of its customer exposure within two of its main business units, TDC Solutions (Landline Telephony, Data Communication and Internet Services) and TDC Mobile.
The initial stages of the project concentrated on the physical reorganisation of the fraud and credit management departments, and the streamlining of procedures and processes within the two business units. The IT project, which has recently gone live, automates the fraud and credit risk management functions, providing TDC with a coordinated and proactive approach to managing its customer exposure. The long term intention is to extend the scope of the project to other parts of TDC's business.
TDC's Senior Audit Manager, Marianne Holmbjerg, who has been a key proponent and a major driving force behind the project, said "Our initial intention was to have separate systems from separate vendors, however, when we met with Neural Technologies and saw the capability and flexibility of their Minotaur™ solution, we realised that we could incorporate all the functionality we required in one system.
