Neural Technologies' Indian office has embarked upon a new corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at helping the underprivileged in the local area.
The initiative was launched at Christmas, with a Christmas tree being erected in Nt's office. Upon the tree were slips of paper containing the name of a child from a local orphanage and a gift they would like for Christmas. Nt's employees and their families were invited to sponsor gifts for one or more of the children. The picture below shows Nt staff with the children of the Gerizim orphanage receiving their gifts.

The initiative is the brainchild of Nt's HR team and is supported wholeheartedly by Nt's Director, Arinjay Jain, "The project is proving very successful and I am delighted with the way our employees have enthusiastically embraced the idea. These children don't have much and it takes very little to make a difference in their lives, whether that be with small gifts or actually spending time with them".
Nt employees plan to make regular visits to local orphanages in their own time to teach or to read the children stories. Future projects include a cricket match between Nt staff and a team from a nearby school for deprived, blind children.
