Neural Technologies (Nt) has once again secured a place in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table of the UK's top technology companies. This is the second year running that the company has been awarded such prestigious recognition.
Formed nearly fifteen years ago, Nt has developed solutions to assist telecommunication and financial organisations successfully combat fraud and manage credit risk. Its worldwide customer base comprises corporations such as VISA, Orange, MBNA, AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS, amongst others. Since 2001, the company's revenues have expanded by 60% per year, rising to £3.7 million in 2003 from £1.4 million. Nt's Chief Executive Officer John Gavan said: "The power of our technology helps us achieve huge savings for our clients. For example we recently enabled Russia's second largest mobile operator, VimpelCom, to cut their subscriber bad debt by half. We're also helping them make huge savings through faster and more accurate detection of fraudulent activity on their network". He went on to say, "Neural Technologies is delighted to be recognized once again by inclusion in the Tech Track 100."
Nt's Minotaur™ solution represents the next generation of advanced fraud detection. It uses pattern-recognition to identify customers who will never pay bills, predict delinquent behaviour and recognize fraud much faster than competing systems. Its principal feature is its ability to process high volumes data from any number of data sources.
