Neural Technologies' (Nt) former customer Avantel was acquired by fixed line Mexican operator Axtel last year. Axtel's management requested a meeting with Nt to take the opportunity to review the latest version of Nt's Minotaur™ fraud management solution to see how best to position it within the new Axtel business. The meeting led to Axtel deciding to upgrade to the latest version of Minotaur™ and requesting Nt to perform a complete review of the existing configuration and potential creation of new configurations. Axtel's stringent collection and fraud policies supported its decision to request Nt to look at losses and benefits in all areas for both Fraud and Collection-related issues. Ian Gebbett, VP of Nt's US & Latin American operation said, "The existing Avantel fraud configuration has proved to be very effective over the previous three years leading to fraud levels being significantly reduced. This new project comprises the integration of Axtel's business processes, along with expansion of Minotaur's™ configuration into Credit and Collections". |
