Have we told you about SHAPE (Self-Help And Provisioning Exchange)?
Neural Technologies’ SHAPE solution has enabled a tier one telecommunications company in the ASEAN region to launch a Self-Help Data Portal which allows data subscribers to manage their own data plans in real time through their smartphones and desktop browsers.
SHAPE extends an intuitive self-help interface to the data subscribers and expands the data plans’ offering beyond the service provider’s policy and accounting platform. Subscribers can now have a full view of their data plans’ usage in real-time giving them the ability to configure multiple notifications when the usage reaches certain thresholds. They can also purchase or upgrade new plans instantly anytime, anywhere taking away the worry of bill shock.
SHAPE protects service providers from revenue loss via bill shock cases and, at the same time, generates revenue with the active upselling and purchase channels.
Mr Luke Taylor, CEO of Neural Technologies said “It was exciting to be a part of the service that provides market differentiation to our customers’ data subscription and usage campaign. It also alleviates the concern of their subscribers about experiencing bill shock”.

A Leading Middle East Telecom Operator selects Minotaur as their Fraud and Revenue Assurance solution
A leading Middle Eastern service provider has selected us to protect against Fraud and Revenue Assurance.
The Fraud & RA contract provides protection against a multitude of fraud types, from subscription stage and throughout the customer lifecycle, as well as monitoring network nodes and processes to identify potential discrepancies and possible revenue loss. The solution, Minotaur, combines multiple analytical approaches, including advanced analytics, profiling, link analysis, reconciliation and identity matching techniques.
A key reason for choosing Neural Technologies’ solution was due to the capabilities of the Minotaur Insight product. Insight provides intuitive data mining facilities that allow the user to perform in-depth analysis and perform ad hoc queries on existing customer and network data to enrich the investigation and analysis approach to identify revenue loss. It’s simple user interface allows users to fully understand the data being presented to them allowing maximum utilisation of information.
“Minotaur’s capability gives complete control over configuration and allows our customers to very quickly adapt to the ever-changing telecommunications market conditions. We look forward to working with the service provider and their larger group on this and other projects”
Luke Taylor CEO, EMEA region.
