Sales and Account Manager

A Sales Executive is required to account manage and generate new business sales for an Award Winning international OSS/BSS Risk management  software company. As a Sales/Account Manager, you will identify and capitalise on business opportunities with prospects, as well as manage existing clients to maximise revenue across all products and services.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities

The Sales Account Executive will be dynamic, entrepreneurial and a motivated software sales professional, experienced negotiating $300k- $1million+ value contracts with C-level and senior management in IT and Finance.  You will have the drive and determination to lead from the front.  Based from the EMEA Headquarters in Petersfield Hampshire you will travel to prospects and clients throughout the territory as required.

Preferably, with 3-5 years of relevant field sales experience you are able to develop strong internal relationships as well as to be able to develop strong business relationships with customers and prospective customers. You are to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of domain in OSS/BSS and risk management. You are comfortable in supporting consulting services in nurturing accounts to maximum potential.

    Objectives

    • Generating new leads and following up on leads and opportunities
    • Increase revenue with new service or software sales
    • Increasing our OSS/BSS presence in EMEA
    • Day to day management of customer accounts
    • Producing accurate forecasts of potential opportunities within the account
    • Building relationships within the customer base to expand existing portfolio
    • Liaising and supporting partners to open other opportunities
    • Liaising with Neural Technologies support teams and the customer to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Visit and support assigned customers as required
    • Self-study to build and maintain skills levels in Neural Technologies software and related technologies
    • Record all customer activity/correspondence on CRM database
    • Travelling abroad, sometimes at short notice and for a number of days at a time

    Requirements

    • Customer support / sales / account management environment
    • Methodical and persistent problem solver
    • Proven large budget sales in an IT based field
    • Experience in OSS/BSS sales, products, solutions
    • Highly self-motivated, excellent personal, written & verbal skills
    • Attitude conducive to “team spirit” and building co-operative working practices
    • Able to work on own initiative whilst ensuring accurate reporting of progress
    • Good level of spoken English, other languages an advantage
    • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
