Software Developer

Location: Germany (Remote)

General Specification

We are developing a web-based application platform which is the basis for our suite of existing and future web applications based on the Optimus suite of products.

For this purpose, we are looking an (experienced) web developer with adequate references. 

Working within a team of deployment engineers you will be responsible for the development, testing and documentation of our web-based applications, using our Web Framework technologies.

What you will do

Responsibilities:

• Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technology to create an innovative and growing web platform solution and related applications which help to drive the business forward in their objectives. 
• Ability to work in partnership with internal resources and with business product managers.
• Proven working experience in web programming.
• Experience in full stack web development and the different flavors thereof.
• Experienced programming skills and knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/Javascript/JQuery and Java/Spring Framework.
• Desirable experience with Kendo UI and Bootstrap
• Knowledge of our project management tools: Confluence, JIRA, Git source control
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, MVC programming paradigms and web application development.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
