Application Development Manager

Location: Malaysia 
(Menara Dana 13, Pusat Perdagangan Dana 1, Jln PJU 1A/46, PJU 1A)
(walking distance to Ara Damansara LRT Station, Selangor)

What you will do

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
• Manage the entire software development life cycle, from designing, planning, and requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure that all solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team, including mentoring and coaching team members.
• Can apply current technical practices such as writing clean, testable code and pair programming.
• Ensure that development processes and best practices are followed and continuously improved.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

What do we want

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience in managing software development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, REST and RESTful APIs, WSDL, and Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL technologies (Aerospike, KeyDB,
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
