Mediation Engineer

Location: Europe (Remote)

Your Role

As a Mediation Engineer within our Professional Services team, your role involves system integration activities integrating Neural Technologies Software to customer’s environment.

What You Will Do

• Working closely with Project delivery team which includes but not limited to:
  • Product related configurations and deliverables. Configuration task includes data migration, scripting and product related configurations.
  • Setting up testing works and evaluation of configurations.
  •  Handling of supporting / troubleshooting issue during project phase.
  • Requirement gathering and understanding of requirements during project requirement gathering phase with the project team.
  • Ability to analyze the requirement and translating these requirements to Functional and Technical requirements.
• Subject matter expert for deployment and commissioning of Neural Technologies Software Product.
• You’ll be involved in all stages of Neural Technologies Software customization process, from analysis and design to implementation and testing. “Software Developer” skills are required. Working in an agile environment, the successful candidate requires the ability to both work in a team and individually.
• You must be creative and able to communicate with the Professional Service team and be able to see the bigger picture. A strong affinity for teamwork is also vital.
• You will be given responsibility early on and should have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to the role, with the ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be mentored by an experienced mediation engineer.

What Do We Want

Education – Degree level or equivalent work experience

Requirements
Essential

• Mediation Engineer
  • 2-3 years working knowledge of UNIX & Windows operating systems with scripting knowledge.
  • Experience as a software developer
  • Familiarity with classical telecom’s usage data formats like ASN.1, JSON, XML, binary coded information is an advantage
• SQL Database technologies, (Oracle)
• Good communications skills; written and verbal.  A persuasive communicator and facilitator, able to liaise with external and internal contacts at all levels
• Self-motivated, autonomous, organized and methodical with attention to detail
• Enthusiasm to learn new technologies

Desirable

• Experience of telecoms billing processes and/or systems
• Experience of CRM processes/systems
